Mechanical Engineer

An established manufacturer is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electro-mechanical products from concept through production. You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to make sure every product is functional, high quality, and manufacturable.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electro-mechanical products
  • Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Build prototypes, run testing, and refine designs based on results
  • Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to engineering drawings
  • Select materials and components based on performance, durability, and cost
  • Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), engineering change orders, and technical documentation
  • Support production with troubleshooting, design improvements, and manufacturing challenges
  • Assist with tooling, fixtures, and product improvements that make manufacturing more efficient
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams on design requirements and project updates

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering or product design experience
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Experience developing mechanical components from design through production
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
  • Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)
