Bridge Engineering Manager

An established multi-discipline engineering firm is hiring a Bridge Engineering Manager to lead its bridge group in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a leadership role with full ownership of business development, financial performance and staff management for the group.

What you’ll do

• Grow the firm’s bridge work with county, state and local clients across Kentucky
• Coordinate the group’s growth plan with office and practice leadership
• Manage the group budget and allocate resources
• Lead and contribute to proposals
• Serve as the senior technical resource for project managers and engineering staff
• Set staffing needs, interview and hire for the group
• Lead, coach and develop the team: goals, feedback, 1:1s and performance reviews

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 10+ years of bridge engineering experience
• Project management and business development experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Kentucky county and state transportation clients
• Supervisory experience

• Full time, on site in Georgetown, KY
