A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Partner Recruiting Coordinator to support firmwide lateral partner recruiting initiatives. This role will help coordinate and execute high-level recruiting processes while working closely with firm leadership, practice group leaders, external search firms, candidates, and internal business teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting executive-level recruiting, lateral recruiting, legal recruiting, or professional services recruiting. This person should be highly organized, discreet, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing confidential recruiting activity in a fast-paced, senior stakeholder environment.
This position offers significant exposure to leadership and strategic hiring initiatives while helping deliver a polished and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Support firmwide lateral partner recruiting initiatives across practice groups.
Track and maintain partner hiring needs, candidate pipelines, and recruiting activity.
Partner with firm leadership and practice group stakeholders to support recruitment priorities.
Assist with candidate targeting, sourcing strategy, market research, and talent mapping.
Maintain accurate records of candidate activity, search progress, and hiring status.
Coordinate interview scheduling, logistics, and communications.
Prepare interview materials, candidate packets, candidate profiles, and internal presentation materials.
Communicate professionally with candidates, interview teams, search firms, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure a positive, organized, and confidential candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Track interview feedback, next steps, and process updates.
Serve as a liaison with external search firms and recruiting partners.
Track candidate submissions, search firm activity, and hiring progress.
Coordinate communications among candidates, search firms, hiring stakeholders, and internal teams.
Assist with committee presentations, hiring discussions, and internal recruiting updates.
Ensure timely follow-up and accurate documentation throughout the process.
Coordinate reference checks, conflicts checks, credential verification, and related pre-hire processes.
Verify state bar memberships and other required credentials.
Support new hire paperwork, onboarding activities, orientation, and first-week integration.
Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Practice Management, and other departments to support successful long-term integration.
Help ensure a smooth transition for incoming lateral partners.
Track recruiting metrics, candidate activity, hiring progress, and pipeline data.
Assist with recruiting reports, dashboards, and analytics.
Support strategic hiring initiatives through data collection, analysis, and process documentation.
Maintain accurate recruiting records in applicant tracking systems and internal databases.
3–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruiting coordination experience.
Experience supporting executive-level, senior-level, lateral, legal, or professional services recruiting processes preferred.
Law firm or professional services recruiting experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and candidate processes at once.
Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Workday, viRecruit, Greenhouse, Ashby, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of legal industry recruiting trends preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
