About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Technician Manager to lead a biomedical equipment service team in a fast-paced medical device environment. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working on equipment while also managing and developing a team.
You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance, and drive team performance while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support a team of biomedical equipment technicians
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and related equipment
Assign and manage daily work orders to meet turnaround targets
Review service documentation to ensure quality and compliance
Train and mentor technicians on best practices and procedures
Manage parts, inventory, and coordinate with purchasing
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance
Partner with leadership to improve workflow and efficiency
Act as escalation point for technical and operational issues
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training (Bachelor’s preferred)
5+ years of biomedical equipment or DME repair experience
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong experience with ventilators, oxygen concentrators, or respiratory equipment
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate technical teams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using service documentation systems and Microsoft Office
