About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Technician Manager to lead a biomedical equipment service team in a fast-paced medical device environment. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working on equipment while also managing and developing a team.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance, and drive team performance while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of biomedical equipment technicians

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and related equipment

• Assign and manage daily work orders to meet turnaround targets

• Review service documentation to ensure quality and compliance

• Train and mentor technicians on best practices and procedures

• Manage parts, inventory, and coordinate with purchasing

• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance

• Partner with leadership to improve workflow and efficiency

• Act as escalation point for technical and operational issues

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training (Bachelor’s preferred)

• 5+ years of biomedical equipment or DME repair experience

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong experience with ventilators, oxygen concentrators, or respiratory equipment

• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate technical teams

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable using service documentation systems and Microsoft Office
