Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (one opening per shift)

Pay: $20/hr (flexible based on experience)

 

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Montville, CT. These direct hire roles are responsible for setting up and running rigid plastic extrusion lines in a high-volume production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete line setup, including tooling and die changes.

• Load raw material into hoppers and maintain material flow.

• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure safe, efficient operation.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

• Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.

• Verify guards and safety devices are in place before and during operation.

• Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of machine operating experience, ideally in extrusion or plastics.

• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.

• Familiarity with precision measurement tools.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

• Proven reliability and ability to work assigned shift.

• English speaking required.
