Job Summary

Lead and manage all Swiss CNC and secondary machining operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Oversee a team of skilled machinists, implement process improvements, maintain equipment, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Requires 10+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience, expert-level setup knowledge, and prior supervisory experience.

Must-Haves

• 10+ years CNC Swiss type machine setup & operation experience

• Prior supervisory experience (1+ years minimum)

• Expert knowledge of machine operation, setup procedures, and manufacturing methods

• Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical part inspection (calipers, gauges, tolerances)

• Experience in process improvement and troubleshooting quality issues

• Manufacturing environment background

• Strong safety compliance knowledge

Nice-to-Haves

 

• Associate’s degree or Trade School certificate in precision CNC machining

• Experience with Robodrill and CAM machines

• Preventive maintenance skills on Swiss machines

• Exposure to ITAR/EAR compliance

• Experience with multi-complexity job oversight
