Job Summary
Lead and manage all Swiss CNC and secondary machining operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Oversee a team of skilled machinists, implement process improvements, maintain equipment, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Requires 10+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience, expert-level setup knowledge, and prior supervisory experience.
Must-Haves
10+ years CNC Swiss type machine setup & operation experience
Prior supervisory experience (1+ years minimum)
Expert knowledge of machine operation, setup procedures, and manufacturing methods
Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical part inspection (calipers, gauges, tolerances)
Experience in process improvement and troubleshooting quality issues
Manufacturing environment background
Strong safety compliance knowledge
Nice-to-Haves
Associate’s degree or Trade School certificate in precision CNC machining
Experience with Robodrill and CAM machines
Preventive maintenance skills on Swiss machines
Exposure to ITAR/EAR compliance
Experience with multi-complexity job oversight
