Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to support industrial equipment and conveyor drafting projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating precise 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and will thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for conveyor systems and industrial equipment using SolidWorks or Autodesk software

• Produce cost estimates and feasibility studies for design alternatives

• Assist with layout and facility drawings to support equipment maintenance and operations

• Document design processes and maintain drawing records

• Participate in project planning and cross-functional collaboration

• Support compliance-related training and environmental audits as needed

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional mechanical drafting experience

• Proficient in SolidWorks OR Autodesk (2D and 3D)

• Proven experience drafting conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or similar industrial equipment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook)

• Able to work full-time, on-site in Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field

• Experience with project management tools (Microsoft Project or Excel)
