About the Role:

A well-respected regional healthcare provider is seeking an experienced and strategic People Services Director to lead all HR functions across a multi-facility healthcare campus. This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for both day-to-day HR operations and long-term strategy, reporting directly to the CEO.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of Human Resources for over 350 employees and 80+ providers, serving a community of approximately 36,000 individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a solo department environment and is passionate about building strong culture, engagement, and leadership alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead HR advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.

• Oversee and execute all core HR functions, including:

• Employee relations

• Performance management

• Compensation and salary administration

• Leadership development and training

• Manage all operational HR responsibilities independently as a 1-person department.

• Ensure full compliance with all employment laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies.

• Collaborate with centralized HR support teams for onboarding, benefits, position control, and HRIS functions (Oracle-based).

• Foster a positive work environment that supports retention, morale, and high performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of HR experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.

• Strong background in employee relations and leadership coaching.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and function autonomously.

• Desire to work in a hands-on, high-impact role within a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with Oracle HR systems or similar is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
