People Development Associate

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaboration: Collaborate with other Product Development teams and Human Resources departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to talent development for clients.

  2. Research and Recommendations: Conduct research on best practices in talent development and work with the team to make informed recommendations.

  3. Risk Mitigation: Mitigate risk by following established procedures, identifying critical errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

  4. Facilitation: Lead in-person and virtual talent development sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of individuals.

  5. Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and recommend vendors to provide top-tier talent development solutions; coordinate with vendor partners to ensure high-quality product/service delivery.

  6. Strategic Consultation: Proactively serve as an internal and strategic consultant on talent development services with a focus on developing future skills and capabilities.

  7. Strategic Development: Contribute to the development of innovative talent development strategies that optimize work effectiveness.

  8. Project Management: Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality solutions on time; prioritize multiple project plans and make decisions on priorities, timing, and resources.

  9. Compliance and Quality Standards: Ensure the alignment of risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate issues appropriately.

  10. Other Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing larger projects, multiple projects simultaneously, or a program consisting of similar projects.
  • Consultation Skills: Proactively serve as an internal consultant on talent development processes, programs, and initiatives, engaging and supporting stakeholders' business strategies within the area of expertise.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of methods and techniques for defining learning and behavioral outcome statements, developing strong stakeholder relationships, influencing conversations for buy-in, managing systems to assess needs, and evaluating effectiveness.
  • Strategic Contribution: Experience in contributing to the development of new strategies that maximize work effectiveness.
  • Persuasion: Ability to persuade others by making a strong case.
