Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and overseeing bridge erection and demolition
- Designing cofferdams for construction projects
- Managing critical crane lifts
- Analyzing and planning erection sequencing and staged construction
- Overseeing hoisting and jacking operations
- Designing deep foundations and dewatering systems
- Providing expertise in excavation support and marine engineering
- Conducting pile drive analysis and designing soil anchoring systems
- Creating designs for micro, mini, and rock-socket piles
- Designing falsework and temporary bridge/trestle structures
- Proficiency in drafting and CAD for structural design
- Designing working surfaces for construction sites
- Providing on-site engineering support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience
- Professional Engineer licensure or eligibility in the United States
- Strong academic knowledge of structural engineering
- Experience with engineering design software, including AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Civil 3D, and Finite Element Analysis Software
- Proven ability to work in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Highly organized and capable of handling multiple project assignments
- Willingness to work on construction sites in varied climates and environments.
